Jennifer In Latex

Jennifer In Latex was a self-titled, independent release from the year 2000, representing the niche output of an underground musical project that operated outside the conventional recording industry. The work emerged from a period of experimental electronic and industrial music production, characterized by a DIY ethos where artists bypassed traditional distribution labels to share their creative output directly with listeners.

The conceptual framing of the project leaned into themes of aesthetic artifice and subculture, utilizing the titular imagery to cultivate a specific, provocative identity. As a 'not on label' production, the physical CD remains a rare artifact of early 2000s self-publishing, reflecting a time when independent musicians relied on localized fan networks and nascent online music communities to circulate their work.
