Jenny, Kleine Jenny

Released in 2000 under the Koch Music GmbH label, this CD single features the collaborative efforts of Pan-flute virtuoso Edward Simoni and the vocalist Alexis. The production represents a specific moment in the late 1990s and early 2000s German easy-listening market, where instrumentalists frequently paired with vocalists to create melodic, crossover pop tracks that bridged the gap between traditional light music and contemporary radio formats.

The composition draws on the signature style of Edward Simoni, who rose to fame for bringing the pan flute into the mainstream European pop consciousness. By integrating Alexis's vocal performance, the track aimed to add a layer of emotional resonance to Simoni's technical instrumental arrangements. While these releases were staples of German television music programs of the era, they remained niche projects targeted primarily at Simoni’s established fan base rather than the broader commercial pop charts.
