Provenance

Where it came from

Le Triangle - La Théorie Du Theoreme serves as a significant artifact of the independent French underground hip-hop scene, emerging from the collective efforts of the groups Arracheurs de Bitume and Le Sous Marin in 2013. Produced outside of the traditional major label infrastructure, the project reflects the gritty, DIY ethos prevalent in the regional rap circuits of the time, focusing on complex lyrical delivery and boom-bap production sensibilities.

The album reflects a commitment to a stripped-back, authentic aesthetic, mirroring the collaborative spirit of the artists involved. Because it was released independently without a formal label imprint, it stands as a testament to the niche creative circles operating within the Francophone hip-hop underground, prioritized for its raw technical approach rather than commercial reach.
