The album serves as a curated exploration of the modern Russian guitar repertoire, highlighting the influence of late 20th and early 21st-century composers who sought to expand the instrument's expressive capabilities beyond traditional boundaries.
The album focuses on compositions by Nikita Koshkin, Sergei Rudnev, and Vasili Beljaev, figures who infused the classical guitar tradition with folk motifs, emotional intensity, and contemporary structural complexity.
