The Large Glass

The Large Glass, released in 2009, serves as an artifact of the independent underground music scene in the late 2000s. Produced by the Serbian band George Dorn Screams, the album reflects the group's efforts to cultivate a distinct identity outside of traditional major label distribution. By self-releasing the project, the band maintained total creative control over the sonic landscape, which draws heavily from post-punk and alternative rock influences.

The album's title and aesthetic sensibilities are often interpreted as an homage to Marcel Duchamp’s complex work of the same name, highlighting the band's interest in integrating intellectual artistic themes into their discography. While the release remained largely a cult item within the regional alternative circuit, its design and production represent a deliberate effort by the group to define their own artistic narrative during a period of transition in how independent music was recorded and shared.
