Adventure Comics #115

Adventure Comics #115 was published by DC Comics in March 1947 during the Golden Age of comic books. At this stage in the series' long history, the title served as a cornerstone of the DC anthology format, transitioning away from its original focus on adventure serials toward a diverse mix of superhero and lighthearted features. This particular issue is notable for including an early appearance of the Shining Knight and features the distinctive, clean illustrative style common to DC's editorial house standards of the mid-1940s.

The issue arrived at a time when the comic book industry was beginning to experiment with more comedic and whimsical tones following the end of World War II. The cover and interior stories reflect the aesthetic sensibilities of DC's bullpen, which prioritized accessible, morality-driven narratives that appealed to the post-war youth demographic. While individual creators for these specific stories were rarely credited in the era's promotional materials, the production was managed under the editorial guidance that defined the Golden Age legacy of National Comics Publications.
