Ajin: Demi-Human Complete #2

Ajin: Demi-Human, known in Japan as Ajin, is a dark fantasy manga series created by Gamon Sakurai. The series began serialization in 2012, capturing attention for its intricate exploration of immortality and the ethical implications of government experimentation on non-human beings. The narrative follows Kei Nagai, a student who discovers he is an Ajin—a rare, immortal lifeform—after surviving a fatal accident, forcing him into a world of conflict against both human society and his own kind.

The 'Complete' editions of the series were curated to provide a premium reading experience, often featuring high-quality paper stock and refined layouts that highlight Sakurai’s distinctive, high-contrast art style. The design emphasizes the atmospheric tension of the series, utilizing minimalist covers to contrast with the chaotic, kinetic action sequences found within. These volumes have been well-received by fans of the psychological thriller genre, noted for their ability to balance philosophical discourse with visceral, supernatural combat.
