Colección Miguelanxo Prado #15

The Colección Miguelanxo Prado series was published by Norma Editorial as a dedicated showcase for the works of the acclaimed Galician illustrator and comic creator. This volume represents a significant point in Prado’s bibliography, serving as part of a curated effort to preserve and distribute his intricate graphic novels, short stories, and experimental narratives to a wider audience. The series arose during a period of rising international recognition for Spanish comics, or 'bande dessinée,' where Prado’s sophisticated, painterly aesthetic helped elevate the medium’s reputation for artistic maturity.

The design of the collection leans into Prado’s signature style, which often merges whimsical fantasy with biting social commentary and melancholic realism. His work is characterized by lush color palettes and fluid linework, reflecting his deep background in animation design and illustration. The series was well-received by critics and readers alike, praised for its cohesive presentation that honors the high production standards of European graphic albums while emphasizing the developmental trajectory of his artistic career.
