Colección Miguelanxo Prado #12

The Colección Miguelanxo Prado series was published by Norma Editorial in the 1990s as a retrospective showcase for the work of the renowned Galician comic creator. This specific volume serves as a curated anthology of Prado's short stories and illustrations, reflecting his distinct style characterized by cinematic pacing, sophisticated color palettes, and a thematic preoccupation with human loneliness and urban surrealism.

The design of the collection was intended to elevate the status of the comic medium by treating individual installments as fine art portfolios. The compilation of these pieces was overseen by editors at Norma who aimed to document Prado's evolution from his early underground roots to his international acclaim following his contributions to Heavy Metal magazine. It was well-received by European critics who praised the high-quality print production and the seamless way the editorial team integrated his diverse stylistic experiments.
