Densetsu no Yusha ha Jitsuha Mama Deshita!? #2

Densetsu no Yusha ha Jitsuha Mama Deshita!? is a Japanese light novel series written by Takafumi Nanatsuki and illustrated by Takuya Fujima. Debuting in the early 2010s, the series emerged from the light novel boom of the era, which saw a proliferation of high-concept, humorous takes on fantasy tropes. The narrative centers on a protagonist who discovers that the legendary hero figure is, unexpectedly, his own mother, setting the tone for the series' comedic blend of family dynamics and action-oriented questing.

The second volume continues the stylistic vision established by Fujima, whose character designs are noted for their expressive, vibrant aesthetic typical of modern Japanese light novel illustration. Published by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, the volume was designed to expand the series' world-building while maintaining the lighthearted spirit of the original premise. Upon its release, the volume served to solidify the series' niche following among readers who enjoy comedic subversions of the classic hero's journey.
