Devituber!! - Tsukishiro Arca wa Vtuber de Maō wo Mezasu! #1

Devituber!! - Tsukishiro Arca wa Vtuber de Maō wo Mezasu! #1 is the inaugural volume of the manga adaptation written and illustrated by mangaka Kyutaro. Debuting in the landscape of contemporary Japanese media that blends supernatural themes with the modern phenomenon of VTubing, the series follows the protagonist, Arca, a demon who attempts to conquer the human world by launching a career as a virtual streamer. The narrative serves as a lighthearted commentary on internet celebrity culture and the unique parasocial dynamics inherent to the streaming industry.

The character designs and visual execution reflect current trends in shonen-adjacent comedy manga, characterized by expressive facial work and dynamic paneling that emphasizes the duality of Arca's demonic identity versus her digital avatar. Published within the magazine ecosystem to appeal to younger audiences interested in digital content creation, the series was crafted to translate the chaotic energy of a live stream into a static, printed medium. Upon its release, it was received as a niche but spirited addition to the growing subgenre of fiction focused on the lives of virtual entertainers.
