Die Wahre Geschichte des Wilden Westens #8

Die Wahre Geschichte des Wilden Westens, or The True Story of the Wild West, was a German-language educational comic book series produced during the 1970s. These publications were designed to capitalize on the enduring popularity of Western themes in European pop culture, offering a serialized account of American frontier history presented through the accessible lens of the comic strip format.

The series was characterized by its commitment to a semi-historical narrative style, blending stylized illustrations typical of the era with dramatic retellings of legendary events and figures from the American West. Issue number eight reflects the broader editorial approach of the series, which sought to balance entertainment with historical exposition for a younger audience, contributing to the significant interest in Western lore that defined this period of German comic publishing.
