Egregor: Le Souffle de la Foi #9

Egregor: Le Souffle de la Foi is a French fantasy comic book series created by Jay Eppstine and illustrated by artist Kim Jae-hwan. Emerging from the vibrant tradition of manhwa-influenced European fantasy, the series follows the journey of a young protagonist within a world defined by its intricate system of magic and political maneuvering. The ninth issue continues the overarching narrative established by the authors, maintaining the series' reputation for high-contrast, dynamic character design and a focus on expansive world-building.

The aesthetic of the series is heavily influenced by the visual sensibilities of South Korean manhwa, which the creative team adapted to fit a Western publishing schedule. Upon its release, the series garnered attention for its polished linework and the cinematic pacing of its action sequences. It is widely considered a key entry for readers interested in the cross-pollination of Eastern and Western comic book styles during the early 21st century.
