ElfQuest: Hidden Years #13

ElfQuest: Hidden Years was launched by Warp Graphics in the early 1990s as a way to expand upon the vast lore of the original series created by Wendy and Richard Pini. This specific title was designed to bridge gaps in the timeline and provide deeper narrative context for peripheral characters, maintaining the signature high-fantasy aesthetic that defined the franchise since its 1978 inception.

The issue features the distinct illustrative style of the Pinis, whose commitment to self-publishing allowed them to retain complete creative control over their world-building. It was received by the long-standing ElfQuest readership as a vital piece of auxiliary storytelling, prized for its role in fleshing out the expansive history of the Wolfriders while adhering to the established visual language of the core series.
