ElfQuest: Jink #2

ElfQuest: Jink #2 was published in 1995 as part of a three-issue limited series set in the distant future of the ElfQuest universe. Created by Wendy and Richard Pini and written by Deni Loubert, the series was designed to explore a darker, more technologically advanced setting compared to the traditional fantasy roots of the main franchise. This installment follows the protagonist, Jink, as she navigates the complexities of her society while dealing with the fallout of the series' central conflict.

The visual style of the series was handled by artist Adam Gallardo, who utilized a distinct, angular aesthetic that departed from the classic ElfQuest illustrative look to emphasize the grim, cyberpunk-inspired environment. While the issue was produced during a period of experimentation for the WaRP Graphics imprint, it remains a notable curiosity for fans of the wider saga, serving as an atmospheric departure from the primary narrative threads established by the Pinis.
