ElfQuest: Jink #12

ElfQuest: Jink #12, published in 1995, serves as the concluding chapter of the Jink miniseries, a spin-off from the expansive ElfQuest universe created by Wendy and Richard Pini. The series was designed to explore the futuristic setting of the World of Two Moons, focusing on the character Jink, a young courier navigating the complex societal divisions between elves and humans. It was published under the WaRP Graphics imprint during a period when the Pini's sought to expand the narrative scope of their long-running high fantasy epic into more diverse thematic territory.

The series was notable for its distinct departure from the traditional fantasy aesthetic of the primary ElfQuest titles, utilizing a more stylized, futuristic visual approach. While the art was primarily executed by Arlys Scott, the creative direction remained under the close oversight of the Pinis to ensure continuity with the established lore. Upon its conclusion, the series was received as a niche expansion for dedicated fans of the franchise, offering a grittier, science-fiction perspective on the post-apocalyptic timeline previously only hinted at in the original World of Two Moons stories.
