Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy #3

Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy #3 is part of a collaborative indie comic project that emerged from the underground zine and alternative comics scene of the early 2000s. The series was built on the surrealist parlor game of the same name, where artists would contribute sequential panels or character developments without seeing the work of the previous contributors, leading to a fragmented and intentionally erratic narrative structure.

The Rascal Randy character served as the recurring, chaotic anchor for these collaborative experiments. The artists involved, typically members of small-press collectives, utilized this format to subvert traditional comic storytelling and explore absurdist humor. While the series remains a niche artifact of its era, it is recognized by collectors of experimental comics for its raw, unpolished aesthetic and its commitment to the spirit of collective, unplanned artistic production.
