Fixation #1

Fixation #1 serves as the inaugural entry of the Fixation series, a niche independent publication that emerged within the underground comics and alternative press scene. It was created to explore themes of obsessive behavior and psychological fixation through a blend of surrealist narrative and experimental illustration, offering a stark departure from the mainstream superhero titles that dominated the broader industry during its period of release.

The visual language of the issue was characterized by its minimalist aesthetic and stark linework, a deliberate choice by the creators to focus the reader's attention on the unsettling intimacy of the story. While the series gained a modest but dedicated following among enthusiasts of avant-garde visual storytelling, its distribution remained limited, keeping it a sought-after rarity among collectors who appreciate works that challenge traditional panel layouts and narrative structures.
