Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance #4

Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance #4 was published in late 1992 as part of the broader Darkhold-themed crossover events that dominated the Marvel Comics supernatural line during the early nineties. The series served to reunite the two primary versions of Ghost Rider, Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze, allowing writers to weave their disparate backstories together against an increasingly occult-focused narrative landscape.

The issue features art by Adam Kubert, whose visceral, dynamic style was instrumental in defining the grim aesthetic of the nineties comics boom. Collaborating with writer Howard Mackie, Kubert utilized a gritty, high-contrast visual approach intended to emphasize the horror elements inherent in the character's descent into hellish imagery. Upon its release, the title was well-received by fans of the supernatural genre and became a staple for collectors interested in the darker, street-level vigilante stories of the era.
