Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance #2

Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance #2, published in 1992, emerged during the height of the 1990s comic book boom. The series was created to capitalize on the immense popularity of the Ghost Rider character during the era, teaming him with his brother, Johnny Blaze. It captured the grim, high-octane aesthetic of Marvel's 'Midnight Sons' imprint, which focused on the supernatural and occult corners of the publisher's universe.

The issue features scripting by Howard Mackie and kinetic, hyper-detailed interior art by Adam Kubert, whose work helped define the aggressive visual style of the decade. The design reflects the period's preference for dynamic action sequences and elaborate, textured linework intended to appeal to a generation of readers captivated by the dark, cinematic tone that dominated the market at the time.
