I Fantastici Quattro #13

I Fantastici Quattro #13, published in Italy by Editoriale Corno in 1971, represents a significant chapter in the international localization of American comic books. This series introduced the Fantastic Four to Italian readers, adapting Marvel's Silver Age stories into a format tailored for the local market. The issue features the iconic creative team of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, whose work during this era established the fundamental character dynamics and cosmic scope of the Marvel Universe.

The design and editorial approach of the Corno editions were guided by the intent to make American superhero narratives accessible to a new generation of European readers. The cover art, often repurposed or adapted from original American interiors or promotional material, was intended to evoke the high-stakes drama and visual dynamism typical of Kirby's illustrative style. The series is widely regarded by collectors as a foundational element of the comic book culture that took root in Italy during the 1970s.
