I Fantastici Quattro #130

I Fantastici Quattro #130 was published in Italy by Editoriale Corno as part of their long-running license to translate and distribute Marvel Comics. This specific issue, released in the early 1970s, features a cover and interior content adapted from the original American series The Fantastic Four, a cornerstone of the Silver Age of comics created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The Corno editions were instrumental in introducing the complex, soap-opera-style superhero narratives of the Marvel Universe to an entire generation of Italian readers, often featuring distinct cover art or compilation formats unique to the Italian market.

The design and narrative tone of the Fantastic Four were defined by the synergy between Lee's character-driven dialogue and Kirby's dynamic, cosmic aesthetic. By the time this issue reached Italian newsstands, the series had established the team as a dysfunctional, relatable family of explorers rather than archetypal heroes. The Italian reception of these books was overwhelmingly positive, fostering a dedicated subculture of comic enthusiasts who valued the Corno series for its consistent monthly cadence and the distinctive quality of its newsprint paper and color application.
