Inukai-kun no Shippo: Koisuru Moon Dog Spin-Off #2

Inukai-kun no Shippo serves as a spin-off to the popular boys' love manga Koisuru Moon Dog, written and illustrated by Ammitsu. The series was developed to expand upon the whimsical and supernatural romantic premise of the original work, focusing on the character Inukai-kun. It emerged from the established creative vision of the source material, which blends lighthearted comedy with the fantasy elements of a man transformed into a dog.

Ammitsu’s design and illustrative style for this spin-off maintain the clean lines and expressive character work that garnered a dedicated following for the primary series. The release was aimed at the existing audience of the franchise, offering readers further insight into the supporting cast. Like its predecessor, the work has been received as a gentle, charming extension of the established narrative universe, fitting well within the niche of romantic character-driven manga.
