Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san #6

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, authored by the artist known as Kuzushiro, began serialization in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2011. The series explores a comedic, high-contrast dynamic between the dog-like, extroverted Yachiyo Inugami and the cat-like, introverted Suzu Nekoyama. The sixth volume serves as a continuation of this lighthearted yuri-genre narrative, maintaining the manga's established aesthetic of expressive character designs and quick-paced gag humor that solidified its niche following.

Kuzushiro designed the characters to play off archetypal personality tropes, intentionally blending slapstick interactions with a blooming romance. Upon its release, the volume was received as a standard entry in the series, appreciated by readers for its consistency in tone and visual style. The work reflects the broader trends of mid-2010s manga, where character-driven short-form comedies gained prominence within the seinen and yuri demographics for their approachability and charm.
