Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito Extreme Edition #6

Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito, known internationally as Fist of the Blue Sky, serves as the prequel to the classic manga Fist of the North Star. This Extreme Edition collection was published by Star Comics in Italy to offer a high-quality, larger-format archival presentation of the original work by Tetsuo Hara and Buronson. The series follows Kenshiro Kasumi, the 62nd successor of the Hokuto Shinken style, navigating the criminal underworld of 1930s Shanghai.

The Extreme Edition series was designed to appeal to long-time fans and collectors seeking a premium reading experience, featuring updated print quality and superior paper stock. Tetsuo Hara, the lead illustrator, employed his signature gritty, hyper-masculine aesthetic to bridge the gap between the historical setting of the prequel and the post-apocalyptic tone of the original series. The release was received as a definitive tribute to the legacy of the franchise in the Italian market, maintaining the intense action sequences and philosophical themes characteristic of the Hokuto Shinken saga.
