Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito Extreme Edition #5

Ken il Guerriero: Le Origini del Mito, known internationally as Fist of the Blue Sky, serves as the prequel to the classic manga Fist of the North Star. This Extreme Edition collection was released by Star Comics to provide a definitive, high-quality printing of the series, catering to long-time fans who desired a more premium reading experience than the original serializations offered. The series follows Kenshiro Kasumi, the 62nd successor of the Hokuto Shinken, in 1930s Shanghai, blending historical drama with the franchise's signature martial arts action.

The series was originally created by Tetsuo Hara, with script supervision by Buronson, expanding the lore surrounding the Hokuto lineage. The Extreme Edition redesign focuses on archival-quality paper and larger formatting, allowing the intricate, gritty ink work characteristic of Hara’s style to be fully appreciated. It received positive reception from the Italian collector community for its faithfulness to the source material and the inclusion of updated editorial content, solidifying its place as a staple for enthusiasts of the post-apocalyptic martial arts genre.
