Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja [The Comic] #3

Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja, or She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, began as a light novel series before being adapted into this manga iteration illustrated by Dicca Suemitsu. The third volume, published as part of the series' transition from web-novel origins to a serialized print format, continues the journey of Kagami Sakimori, a gamer who finds himself transported into the world of his favorite VRMMO in the body of his elderly, venerable avatar, Dunbalf.

The character design and visual direction focus on the contrast between the protagonist’s majestic, wise-man persona and the reality of his predicament. As a fantasy-isekai title, the series relies on the established tropes of the genre while layering in the specific aesthetic sensibilities of the original light novel illustrations. This volume was received as a standard entry in the growing catalog of fantasy manga, appealing to readers interested in the intersection of gaming culture and classical high-fantasy motifs.
