Kimi ga Shinu Made Koi wo Shitai #4

Kimi ga Shinu Made Koi wo Shitai, known in English as I Want to Die While Loving You, is a manga series written and illustrated by Ayo Utakata. The series began serialization in 2019 within the pages of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh magazine. Set in a fantasy world where young girls are trained as soldiers to combat mysterious entities, the narrative explores profound themes of mortality, companionship, and the weight of duty placed upon youth.

The fourth volume, published in late 2020, continues the story of the protagonist, Tsukiko, and her growing emotional bonds within the military academy. Utakata’s art style is noted for its delicate, atmospheric quality, which contrasts sharply with the grim reality of the characters' military environment. The series has been well-regarded by readers for its sensitive character development and its nuanced portrayal of the girls' relationships as they navigate a bleak and predetermined future.
