Kō-2 no Koi no Wasurekata #1

Kō-2 no Koi no Wasurekata, or How to Forget Love in the Second Year of High School, is a manga series serialized in the shōjo magazine Margaret. The series emerged from the Japanese romance manga tradition, focusing on the emotional landscape of adolescence and the transient nature of high school relationships. It was created by the manga artist Mitsuba Kazuha, who utilized the typical visual language of the genre—delicate line work and expressive character-focused panels—to explore themes of heartbreak and personal growth.

The first volume of the series captures the initial arc of the narrative, establishing the protagonist's struggle with lingering feelings after a breakup. Upon its release, the work was received as a recognizable entry in the 'school romance' subgenre, which remains a staple of shōjo publishing. While not a massive cultural phenomenon, it represents the steady output of romantic storytelling that characterized Shueisha’s Margaret label during its era, aimed at providing readers with accessible, relatable depictions of youthful romance.
