Là Où les Étoiles Filantes Tombent #3

Là Où les Étoiles Filantes Tombent, created by the French author and illustrator Jérémy Perrodeau, is a graphic novel series noted for its distinct sci-fi aesthetic and atmospheric storytelling. The third installment serves as a pivotal chapter in the narrative, continuing the exploration of a surreal landscape where the protagonist encounters mysterious phenomena tied to fallen stars. Perrodeau’s visual style, characterized by a bold, saturated color palette and clean, minimalist linework, is heavily influenced by the tradition of ligne claire while pushing into modern, abstract territories.

The series emerged within the contemporary landscape of French independent comics, finding its home with publisher Éditions 2024. Perrodeau’s design choices reflect a deliberate intention to evoke a sense of cosmic dread combined with contemplative wonder. Upon its release, the work was well-received by critics for its ambitious world-building and its ability to sustain a meditative, dreamlike quality throughout its serialization, marking it as a significant contribution to modern speculative graphic fiction.
