Là Où les Étoiles Filantes Tombent #1

Là Où les Étoiles Filantes Tombent, created by the French author and illustrator Anthony Pastor, emerged as a notable work in the contemporary independent comics scene. The series is characterized by its atmospheric storytelling, blending elements of noir and contemplative drama, and is set against a backdrop that highlights Pastor's distinct visual style, which often emphasizes mood and shadows to evoke the internal landscapes of his characters.

The first issue serves as the atmospheric introduction to this narrative, setting the stage for a story defined by its character-driven pace and emotional resonance. Upon its release, the work was well-received within the European graphic novel market, garnering praise for Pastor’s ability to marry evocative, muted color palettes with a script that prioritizes quiet tension over overt action. It represents a significant entry in the author's body of work, reflecting a maturation in his artistic approach to narrative structure.
