La Zorra y el Cuervo #142

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that began publication in the mid-1960s, emerging as a cultural staple of the era. Drawing inspiration from the classic Aesop's fable, the magazine focused on the comedic rivalry between the fox and the crow, serving as a primary source of humor and entertainment for generations of Cuban youth within a state-sanctioned publishing framework.

The character designs and narrative style evolved under the guidance of various artists associated with the Editorial Abril and earlier publishers. The series was characterized by a distinct, approachable aesthetic designed to appeal to children, blending lighthearted slapstick with moralistic undertones. Issue #142 represents a point in the long-running series' history where its format and visual language had become deeply embedded in the national consciousness, maintaining a consistent following through its recognizable lead characters.
