La Zorra y el Cuervo #147

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical comic magazine that began publication in the mid-1960s. It was established as a medium for social and political commentary, using humor and caricature to engage with the realities of life in Cuba. The magazine became a cultural touchstone for its blend of biting wit and accessible graphic storytelling, often reflecting the specific cultural nuances of the era.

The character designs and visual style of the series were heavily influenced by traditional fable archetypes, repurposed to fit the magazine's satirical mission. The illustrators who contributed to the publication focused on expressive, minimalist line work that allowed for quick reading and potent social critique. Issue #147 represents the ongoing effort of these artists to maintain a consistent satirical voice within the constraints and editorial directions of the state-supported publishing landscape of the time.
