La Zorra y el Cuervo #149

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical and humor magazine, first established in the mid-20th century to provide a local platform for political and social commentary. Drawing inspiration from classical fables and international comic traditions, the publication evolved into a staple of Cuban cultural life, utilizing caricature and sharp wit to engage with the realities of life in Havana and beyond.

The design and illustration style of the series were defined by a collaborative effort of Cuban graphic artists who favored expressive, minimalist line work intended to convey complex narratives through simple visual cues. Issue 149 serves as a representative example of the magazine's mid-period output, which sought to balance lighthearted satire with the rigorous visual storytelling standards maintained by its editorial board throughout its long-standing run.
