La Zorra y el Cuervo #152

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic magazine that began publication in the mid-1960s, serving as a staple of children's literature during the era. It took its name from the classic Aesop fable, the Fox and the Crow, which provided the central characters for the series. Published by the Editorial Juvenil, the magazine was designed to provide moral, educational, and entertaining content to young readers across the island, often featuring stylized anthropomorphic illustrations that drew influence from both European comic traditions and local graphic storytelling styles.

Issue #152 represents a mid-run entry for the publication, produced during a time when the magazine had solidified its visual identity and editorial voice. The artwork generally emphasized clear, expressive line work suitable for mass-market printing on newsprint. While the series was widely distributed and fondly remembered by generations of Cubans as a cultural touchstone, it remains a highly localized collectible that reflects the specific pedagogical and artistic goals of the Cuban state-run publishing houses of the period.
