La Zorra y el Cuervo #180

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban humor magazine that began publication in the mid-1960s. It served as a vital platform for political satire, social commentary, and graphic storytelling, capturing the unique spirit of the era. The magazine was closely tied to the Editorial Pablo de la Torriente Brau, operating within a cultural landscape that heavily prioritized caricature as a tool for public engagement and institutional critique.

Issue #180 exemplifies the magazine's commitment to visual wit, featuring work from a rotating group of Cuba's most esteemed illustrators and cartoonists. The design aesthetic often utilized bold lines and minimalist backgrounds to ensure the satirical messages remained accessible to a broad readership.
