La Zorra y el Cuervo #182

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical and humor magazine that began publication in the mid-1960s. It served as a vital platform for social and political commentary, often utilizing caricatures and wit to engage with the realities of life in Cuba. The magazine was closely associated with the state-run publishing ecosystem, providing a space for some of the country's most celebrated cartoonists and illustrators to showcase their work to a broad national audience.

Issue 182 arrived during the mature phase of the magazine's run, a period when its aesthetic and editorial voice were well-established. The design typically featured high-contrast black-and-white or limited-palette illustrations, drawing inspiration from both Soviet-era graphic traditions and international satirical styles. While the specific contributors for each issue rotated frequently, the magazine’s reception was defined by its role as a mirror of daily life, blending mundane observation with sharp institutional critique that resonated deeply with the Cuban reading public.
