La Zorra y el Cuervo #183

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series centered on the titular fox and crow, characters inspired by the classic Aesop fable. Debuting in the mid-1960s, the publication became a staple of Cuban childhoods, serving as a primary source of humor and illustrated storytelling for generations during a period when access to imported foreign media was highly restricted. The series maintained a consistent aesthetic that blended whimsical slapstick with social commentary.

The publication was overseen by Editorial Orbe and later by Editorial Pablo de la Torriente, featuring the work of various artists who captured the expressive, frenetic energy of the protagonists. Issue #183 reflects the long-running nature of the series, which adapted its visual style to match evolving printing standards while remaining faithful to the original satirical tone. It is widely regarded as a significant cultural artifact of the Cuban domestic publishing industry.
