La Zorra y el Cuervo #212

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban satirical comic magazine that began publication in 1964. It served as a vital platform for graphic humor and social commentary, drawing inspiration from the fable tradition while anchoring its content in the political and cultural realities of post-revolutionary Cuba. Issue 212 represents a snapshot of the magazine's long-standing effort to provide entertainment through sharp, stylized illustrations and witty narratives that resonated with a broad readership across the island.

The publication was defined by its distinct artistic identity, which leaned heavily into the aesthetic of mid-century Latin American caricature and editorial cartoons. By the time this issue was released, the magazine had established a consistent team of illustrators and writers dedicated to the satirical form. While individual contributions often varied within the anthology-style format, the work was received as a staple of Cuban popular culture, valued both for its aesthetic contribution to the medium and its role in maintaining a consistent dialogue with its audience.
