La Zorra y el Cuervo #211

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that began publication in the mid-1960s, serving as a cornerstone of the island's literary and visual culture for decades. Published under the editorial oversight of the Editora Abril, the series adapted the classic Aesop fable of the fox and the crow into a localized, whimsical narrative that reflected the sensibilities of Cuban youth, often blending moralistic storytelling with satirical humor.

Issue #211 fits into the long-standing tradition of this series, which utilized high-contrast black-and-white or limited-color printing common in mid-century Cuban periodicals. The character designs were characterized by their expressive, fluid lines, drawing influence from both classic European comic styles and the burgeoning Cuban animation scene of the era. The series was widely received as a staple of childhood education and entertainment, maintaining a loyal readership throughout its lengthy production run.
