Mórén Zhēntàn Nǎoniè Nièluó #12

Mórén Zhēntàn Nǎoniè Nièluó, known internationally as Neuro: Supernatural Detective, is a manga series created by Yūsei Matsui that began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2005. The twelfth issue of the collected tankōbon volumes continues the narrative of Neuro Nōgami, a demon who consumes mysteries as sustenance, and his human assistant Yako Katsuragi as they solve complex criminal cases in the mortal world.

The character designs and supernatural premise were heavily influenced by Matsui's interest in unconventional detective tropes and dark humor. The series was noted for its distinct shift from traditional shōnen tropes, moving toward a more eccentric and visually kinetic style that helped distinguish it during a competitive era for the magazine. While initially slow to gain international traction, the series remains recognized for its unique aesthetic and creative approach to the mystery genre.
