Noside Quest #5

Noside Quest is a creative interactive comic series developed by the French publisher Laboite de Jeu, designed to place the reader directly into the role of the protagonist. Released as a tabletop gaming experience, the series aims to blend the visual storytelling of traditional graphic novels with the decision-making mechanics of gamebooks. This particular issue follows the series' established format, where players navigate through branching paths, solve puzzles, and manage inventory to achieve various narrative outcomes.

The art and design of the series are tailored to provide a coherent, immersive experience that bridges the gap between casual reading and role-playing games. The creators focused on a non-linear narrative structure that encourages replayability, requiring the reader to carefully track their choices. Since its debut, the series has been recognized within the hobbyist community for its accessible approach to game-narrative integration, praised for keeping the rules light while maintaining enough depth to make the reader's decisions feel impactful.
