One-Punch Man: Yī Quán Chāorén #2

One-Punch Man, originally titled Yī Quán Chāorén, began in 2009 as a self-published webcomic created by the artist known as ONE. The series was developed as a subversion of traditional shonen manga tropes, focusing on Saitama, a protagonist so powerful that he defeats every enemy with a single punch, leading to profound existential boredom. This second installment continued the introduction of Saitama's world and his unconventional journey toward becoming a hero for fun.

The character designs and core narrative concepts were established by ONE before the series gained significant popularity, leading to a professional digital remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Murata’s dynamic, cinematic art style transformed the original webcomic's rough sketches into a widely acclaimed visual spectacle. The reception of these early chapters was overwhelmingly positive, helping the series transition from an underground web sensation to a global media franchise recognized for its unique blend of parody and high-stakes action.
