Potion-Danomi de Ikinobimasu! Zoku #5

Potion-Danomi de Ikinobimasu! Zoku, known in English as I Shall Survive Using Potions! Zoku, serves as the continuing light novel series written by FUNA and illustrated by Sukima. The series originated from the author's web novel contributions to the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform, eventually transitioning into print under the Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint. The narrative follows Kaoru Nagase, a protagonist who negotiates with a deity for a magical potion-making ability to navigate a fantasy world, with the sequel series building upon the character-driven humor and world-building established in the initial run.

The character designs by Sukima emphasize a lighthearted, approachable aesthetic that complements the comedic tone of FUNA’s writing. The series is frequently noted for its focus on the pragmatic, often whimsical, application of modern scientific knowledge within a fantasy framework. As the fifth entry in the Zoku series, this volume continues the expansion of the protagonist’s influence and the evolving political landscape of the setting, maintaining the established art style that has become synonymous with the franchise's visual identity.
