Power Pack #24

Power Pack #24 was published by Marvel Comics in July 1986 as part of a series created by writer Louise Simonson and artist June Brigman. The title centered on four siblings endowed with superhuman abilities by an alien, offering a grounded and often emotional look at the lives of children balancing school, family, and superhero responsibilities. This specific issue was scripted by Simonson with art by Jon Bogdanove, who brought a dynamic, slightly more kinetic style to the series, focusing on the character Alex Power and the continuing tension of the team's secret lives.

The creative direction of Power Pack was notable for its exploration of mature themes through a youthful lens, often tackling social issues or moral dilemmas that were sophisticated for the medium at the time. By the mid-1980s, the series had carved out a dedicated niche audience that appreciated its character-driven narrative. Issue #24 fits into this established tradition, maintaining the series' reputation for blending lighthearted adventure with genuine stakes, and it remains a highlight for collectors who value the specific aesthetic and narrative evolution the book underwent during the mid-80s.
