Saint Young Men #11

Saint Young Men, or Seinto Oniisan, is a long-running manga series authored and illustrated by Hikaru Nakamura. Launched in 2006 in the seinen magazine Morning 2, the series centers on the premise of Jesus and Gautama Buddha living as roommates in a suburban apartment in Tachikawa, Tokyo, while taking a vacation on Earth. Nakamura designed the characters with a gentle, observational humor, aiming to explore the mundane frustrations and joys of modern human life through the perspectives of these two religious figures.

Volume 11 was released as part of this ongoing series to continue the established narrative rhythm of the duo navigating 21st-century technology, social customs, and local community events. By the time this installment was published, the series had already achieved significant critical acclaim and cultural impact in Japan, known for its lighthearted subversion of religious icons and its ability to blend slice-of-life comedy with thoughtful reflections on spirituality. It remains a hallmark of contemporary seinen manga, appreciated for its consistent character development and meticulous artistic style.
