Senmetsu Tokku: Kaijū Kanren Hanzairoku #2

Senmetsu Tokku: Kaijū Kanren Hanzairoku, or 'Extermination Special: Kaiju-Related Crime Records,' emerged as a niche publication within the broader Japanese speculative fiction and tokusatsu fan subculture. The series was designed as a faux-documentary anthology, providing grounded, administrative-style reports on the aftermath of hypothetical kaiju attacks, catering to readers who appreciate the world-building and logistics of giant monster encounters rather than just the action sequences.

The second issue continued the series' signature aesthetic, which mimics the dry, bureaucratic tone of government disaster-management logs and forensic investigation files. Through a combination of technical diagrams, witness testimony transcripts, and stark graphic design, the creators sought to ground the surreal concept of kaiju violence in a realistic, mundane context, earning a dedicated following among enthusiasts of alternate history and industrial design.
