Shita no Kai ni Sundeiru Hikikomori Bishōjo wa Ōte Jimusho no Shinjin VTuber Deshita #2

This light novel volume is the second installment in the series authored by Kamitose and illustrated by Hiten, published under the GA Bunko imprint. Released during the height of the virtual YouTuber phenomenon, the series explores the intersection of social isolation and digital stardom. It follows the narrative established in the debut, focusing on the protagonist's double life as a reclusive neighbor and a burgeoning internet celebrity, tapping into contemporary cultural fascinations with streaming subcultures.

The character designs by Hiten, known for his delicate and evocative artistic style, were central to the series' marketing and appeal. His illustrations for the series were designed to capture the duality of the protagonist's personality, balancing relatable, domestic settings with the high-energy aesthetic of VTuber avatars. The volume was generally well-received within the light novel community, serving as a continuation that deepened the interpersonal dynamics established in the first volume.
