Something is Killing the Children Omnibus #2

Something is Killing the Children, created by writer James Tynion IV and artist Werther Dell'Edera, debuted in 2019 as a dark fantasy horror series published by BOOM! Studios. The narrative follows Erica Slaughter, a mysterious agent who specializes in hunting the monsters that plague children, set within the isolated, grim atmosphere of Archer's Peak. The success of the initial run led to the production of high-quality, oversized omnibus collections, designed to house the expansive lore and detailed, atmospheric linework of the series for long-term preservation.

The second omnibus volume continues the collection of the central storyline and its expanding mythology. The design choice for the omnibus format was aimed at providing a premium reading experience for fans who appreciate the series' signature aesthetic—a blend of gritty realism and visceral, supernatural horror. Upon its release, the omnibus was met with critical praise for its sturdy construction and the clarity with which it presented Dell'Edera’s intricate, shadow-heavy panels, solidifying the series as a modern staple in the horror comic genre.
