Supplément de Zorro #5

Supplément de Zorro was a French comics publication produced during the mid-20th century, a period when American pulp heroes and film serial characters experienced immense popularity in Europe. These small-format booklets were typically printed on newsprint and intended for a young readership, capitalizing on the success of the Zorro character popularized by the 1957 Walt Disney television series.

The design of these issues relied heavily on imported aesthetics and serialized adventures, often blending original French content with stylized interpretations of the masked vigilante. While the specific artistic credits for issue #5 remain part of the broader, often anonymous editorial output of the era’s publishing houses, the series is now recognized as a significant artifact of post-war European fascination with American pop culture iconography.
